Position Description:
Under direct supervision, prepares quality foods for meals in student dining center for the Department of Housing and Dining; cleans and secures kitchen areas following preparation of meals; and directs student employees in the delivery of prepared foods to service lines, the cleaning of the kitchen, and other related duties.
We are seeking skilled, organized, and hardworking team-oriented individuals to join our award-winning dining program who follow instructions, and help us delight our customers by preparing delicious food. These openings are 1st shift positions with a typical work schedule of Monday - Friday, 10:30 am. to 7:30 p.m. The specific work schedule depends on location but will include some weekend hours. Nine-month positions in Dining follow the academic year from August to May with opportunity to work additional hours during the summer.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Food service experience preferred.
