A defined career path exists. Based on experience, the successful candidate will be hired into one of two levels of professional opportunity: Educational Technologist or Senior Educational Technologist and will have the opportunity to progress through the career path by achieving defined performance objectives once employed. Pay grade and salary will be determined based on the level hired into.
 
Impact & Responsibilities: Assists on an individual basis with faculty in the integration of instructional technology into teaching and learning; assesses faculty professional development needs pertaining to integration of instructional technologies into teaching and learning; collaborates across university to develop, evaluate, and refine professional development instructional materials; provides professional development for faculty; promotes awareness and supports effective uses of IT-ETMS instructional technologies; provide training support for faculty, staff and students impacted by the new technologies; and supervises student employees. Additional duties required for Senior Educational Technologist position.
 
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in instructional design, information technology, educational technology, education or related field required. Required qualifications for Educational Technologist: at least three years of experience in teaching and/or faculty professional development. Additional experience required for Senior Educational Technologist position.
 
Preferred: Master's degree in educational technology, instructional technology or related field.
