Director of Football Operations
Responsibilities: Manages all operations of the football office including operating budget, team travel, quality control, NCAA compliance and recruiting related matters; hires, trains, supervises and mentors team managers, interns and video staff; designs video/graphic content for social media strategies; edits and provides scout tapes to coaching staff; performs market analysis to design schedule to maximize strength of schedule; and manages external relations, alumni and fundraising efforts.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of combined experience in collegiate football playing, collegiate coaching, or athletic department administration experience required. Division I or II administrative experience preferred. Evening and weekend work necessary. Student experience will be considered. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa.
