Assistant Coach/Video - Men’s Basketball
Responsibilities: Acts as assistant to Head Men's Basketball Coach; assists with team practice sessions and game contests; instructs team members in game strategies and techniques; edits and provides scout tape to coaching staff; breaks down the video with game cutups, offense/defense scouting, and scouting reports; reviews game film with players for game preparation and player development; trains student assistant/managers on use and proper setup of video equipment and processes; and completes related duties as required or directed.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of collegiate men’s basketball coaching experience or four years of combined experience in collegiate basketball playing and/or collegiate basketball manager experience required. Division I or II experience preferred. Student or volunteer experience will be considered. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference and the University of Northern Iowa.
