Assistant Director Campus Visits

Primary Function: Responsible for creating a premiere guest experience for visiting prospective students and their families; provides leadership for the development, management, oversight, execution, and assessment of UNI’s campus visit programs, including daily visits, large visit days, specialized department and college visits, and virtual offerings; builds and maintains campus visit options within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; builds quality and lasting relationships with high school counselors, other secondary school personnel and community college staff; provides leadership and mentorship to the campus visits team; supervises Student Associate campus visit team leaders to implement visit programming; recruits and hires volunteer Panther Ambassador tour guides and Panther Welcome Team; and conducts large and small group presentations.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; at least three years of experience in a higher education setting; experience with event planning, student information systems, and CRM; strong oral and written communication skills; strong attention to detail; and project coordination skills and strong organizational skills with a proven ability to balance competing priorities and complex situations within tight deadlines required. Master’s degree preferred. Evening and weekend events performed outside of normal work hours, and occasional travel will be necessary.
