Business Development Representative
We are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to help customers! You do not need to be an expert in cars to apply. Our ideal candidate has a customer service background with a sales mindset, especially someone who can multi-task and has the ability to thinking quickly while engaged in a conversation.
As a business development coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting customers with questions and setting up appointments promptly and politely to help them have a good first experience with the dealership. Additionally, you will be following up with prospective customers and keeping track of interactions in our CRM and service scheduling tools.

Responsibilities
- Initiate outbound phone calls to previous customers for first time maintenance, past due maintenance, and safety recalls.
- Answer inbound phone calls for customers looking to book appointments in the service and quick lane departments.
- Respond quickly to internet, email, and phone inquires using email templates and scripts.
- Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resource.
- Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or missed appointments.
- Stay up to date on manufacturer safety recalls, dealership initiatives, and industry trends.
- Participate in role playing, training, and professional development.
- Keep a positive relationship with teammates including service advisors, technicians, and management.
- Clear communication utilizing Microsoft Office, customer relationship management tool, and service scheduling tool.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience, with at least one previous role in this capacity.
- Experience in collections or outbound phone calls is advantageous.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude towards improvement.
- Open to constructive feedback and adaptable to coaching.
- Courteous and prompt in demeanor.
- Enthusiastic and hardworking, maintaining a positive disposition.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Excellent listening skills and a compassionate voice and manner.
- Strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Hold a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
