Hospice Home Nurse - RN

Cedar Valley Hospice is the premier hospice agency serving 15 counties with offices in Waterloo, Grundy Center, Independence and Waverly. We are currently seeking a highly qualified, compassionate Hospice Home Nurse to join our well-respected team at our 6-unit Hospice Home. At Cedar Valley Hospice you will work with the best clinicians, nurses and management team, learning highly regarded practices to achieve optimum outcomes for our patients and their families. This position will provide direct nursing care for up to 6 patients in our inpatient Hospice Home. This is a night shift position (7:00pm-7:00am) and will work 3 shifts per week, including every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday. Current Iowa RN license required with 2 years RN experience preferred. Current Iowa driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. EOE Qualifications: 1. Current Iowa state license as an RN required. 2. One or more years of professional nursing experience desired. Medical, surgical, nursing facility background desirable. 3. Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills required. 4. Experience working in a team environment preferred. 5. Basic computer skills with the ability to learn work-related software required.
