Bosco Catholic School System is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled, and mission-driven Preschool Special Education Paraprofessional (One-on-One) to support a student with individualized physical needs in our early childhood program. Position Summary:
 The Preschool Special Education Paraprofessional will provide direct one-on-one support to a preschool student with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This individual will assist with daily living needs while collaborating closely with the Preschool Teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to fostering growth in a faith-centered environment.

Responsibilities:
 • Provide direct one-on-one support aligned with the student’s IEP goals
 • Assist in implementing accommodations, modifications, and intervention strategies
 • Support the student’s participation in whole group, small group, and center-based activities
 • Assist with daily living skills, including toileting, handwashing, snack/lunch, and transitions as needed
 • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
 • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with school policies and state/federal guidelines

Qualifications:
 • High school diploma or equivalent required
 • Experience working with young children, especially those with special needs, preferred
 • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
 • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
 • Ability to remain calm, patient, and flexible in a dynamic environment
 • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively assist a preschool-aged child as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
 • CPR/First Aid certification
 • Knowledge of child development and early childhood best practices                                                • Experience with shunts
