Bosco Catholic School System is seeking a motivated, faith-filled, and student-centered Middle School Teacher to join our team. This position involves general teaching responsibilities at the middle school level, with the ability to teach multiple subject areas while fostering both academic and spiritual growth in students.

Position Summary:
The Middle School Teacher will create a positive and engaging learning environment that challenges and supports students academically, socially, and spiritually. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with students, integrate faith into the classroom, and collaborate with colleagues to support student success.

Responsibilities:

 - Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subject areas (such as language arts, math, science, and/or social studies, depending on assignment)

 - Foster a structured, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment

       - Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and student interactions

       - Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents

       - Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

       - Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration

       - Participate in school activities, faith formation, and professional development

       - Maintain accurate academic and attendance records

       - Serve as a positive role model for students

Qualifications:

 - Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

       - Valid Iowa teaching license (K–8 or 5–12 endorsement preferred, or ability to obtain)

       - Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education

 - Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills

 - Ability to teach multiple subjects and adapt to student needs

 - Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

       - Previous middle school teaching experience

      - Experience with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning

       - Ability to build strong relationships with middle school students

 - Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school life
