Finish Carpenter

• $17 - $27 Depending on Skill and Experience
• 4-10 Hr Day Work Week (M-TH)
• PTO Available After Probation Period

Key Responsibilities

● Perform basic framing tasks: cutting, measuring, and installing lumber.

● Use power tools (circular saw, drill, impact driver) safely with limited supervision.

● Assist with layout tasks: chalk lines, measurements, and basic site planning.

● Install simple components such as subfloors, sheathing, blocking, and hardware.

● Read and interpret simple drawings or instructions.

● Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet daily production goals.

● Perform rough framing independently: walls, floors, roofs, openings, and structural

components.

● Assist with installation of doors, windows, trim, and other finish carpentry tasks.

● Interpret blueprints, framing plans, and construction drawings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 6–12 months of carpentry or construction experience preferred.

● Competent in using hand tools and basic power tools.

● Ability to read and accurately interpret a tape measure to 1/16".

● Understanding of basic framing techniques and construction terminology.

● Ability to follow safety procedures and identify basic hazards.

A Strong Candidate Will Have:

● 1.5–3+ years of carpentry experience or equivalent training.

● Strong proficiency with hand and power tools.

● Understanding of building code basics and structural principles.

● Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

● Reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working at a professional pace.
