Windows on Waterloo Webinar - Common Ground Series on Community

Wednesday, March 11, 2026 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

The public is invited to join the Waterloo Community Foundation on Wednesday, March 11 at 11 AM for a Windows on Waterloo webinar recapping key insights from the Common Ground Series on Community, hosted by Union Block (Black Hawk County Gaming Association, R.J. McElroy Trust, Otto Schoitz Foundation, and Waterloo Community Foundation).

Our community is experiencing exciting momentum - Crossroads redevelopment, new schools, revitalized parks and gathering spaces. And together we face challenges such as population decline, economic challenges and political divides.

The three-part learning series invited participants to reflect on the story we tell about our community, what civic engagement requires, and how shared spaces foster connection. This webinar will highlight key themes, takeaways, and questions that emerged for moving forward together.

Community members may join this free online presentation by visiting https://wloocommunityfoundation.org/learning-opportunities/ or by contacting the Foundation’s Program Manager, Paige Price, at paige.price@wloocommunityfoundation.org.

Windows on Waterloo is a Zoom educational series offered by the Waterloo Community Foundation that brings the community together to learn about important issues affecting our city. It’s a place to spark conversations, share ideas, and explore solutions to create a brighter future for Waterloo. These presentations are free and open to the public.
