Description
Mark your calendars for Cedar Valley Hospice’s 15th annual Release & Remember fundraiser! This meaningful event brings our community together to remember and celebrate the lives of our loved ones. Each butterfly dedication honors those closest to us and helps provide hospice and palliative care, dementia support, grief support and HIV case management to those who need it. The day ends with the release of 1,000 monarch butterflies in a heartwarming display.
About Release & Remember
- Dedicate a butterfly for $30 to have your loved one’s name placed on tribute banners at the event. You’ll also receive a commemorative certificate to personalize. The deadline is Aug. 24 to ensure your loved one’s name will be on the banners.
- Starting at 1 p.m., enjoy live music by Flatland Ridge and activities for the whole family.
- Purchase a 2026 Release & Remember T-shirt for $20. T-shirts may be picked up at any Cedar Valley Hospice office location (excluding the Hospice Home). Shirts can also be shipped for $5 each.
- Witness the release of 1,000 monarch butterflies, each representing a loved one, at 2:30 p.m.
Release & Remember is open to anyone in the community to honor their loved one, and we invite all attendees to support Cedar Valley Hospice — every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Free for all to attend. Those wishing to support Cedar Valley Hospice may dedicate a butterfly in honor of their loved one, purchase a T-shirt or give a monetary donation of any amount.
