This October, join us as we welcome Madelyn Ridgeway! Enjoy some coffee and start your morning on a positive note! This event is free to attend for CVYP Members ONLY. Madelyn Ridgeway is an Alabama native who has dedicated her career to creating opportunities and professional excellence in her community. Since 2023, she has served as Executive Director of 24/7 BLAC, where she helps the most vulnerable Cedar Valley residents build generational wealth through entrepreneurship and homeownership.

Madelyn also leads Madelyn Ridgeway Consulting, where she helps professionals craft authentic personal brands using her proprietary framework, The 1-Point Advantage—a strategic approach that identifies and amplifies each person's unique differentiator.

In 2022, Madelyn and her husband, Shaffer, founded Embracing Exploration, a nonprofit that exposes youth and their families to transformative experiences beyond their everyday environments. Through their flagship Future Prep Academy and HBCU Tour, they equip local students with the skills, confidence, and exposure needed to launch and thrive beyond high school.

Before her current roles, Madelyn served as Diversity Director at CBE Companies and Coordinator of Experiential and Service Learning for Waterloo Schools, where she launched the innovative LifeLabs program. She holds a BS in Nutrition and Hospitality Management and an MS in Family & Consumer Sciences from Alabama A&M University.

Madelyn and Shaffer are proud parents to three sons: Solomon (16), Max (15), and Coby (11).
