Sales Director, Healthcare Collections
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Sales Director, Healthcare will expand our healthcare industry presence on a regional (Midwest, Southwest, or South Central United States) basis, gain market share, and increase revenue from a cross section of services offered to prospective clients in the healthcare vertical. This position is responsible for researching and qualifying prospective clients who could benefit from CBE’s services, in addition to partnering to support strategic team sales efforts with other sales executives. The position is expected to generate new revenue in accordance with goals that are defined on a yearly basis, while also providing support to the sales team. This position will be remote and requires about 85% travel in the midwest or south central United States. We would like the candidate to be local one of these regions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, generate and follow up on sales leads identified through marketing research, trade shows, marketing campaigns, email inquiries and other sources for markets and opportunities designated by the VP of Sales Perform market intelligence and update management about market new or competing products, pricing, new technology and product specifications Contact prospective clients and initiate outbound phone calls to set appointments Represent CBE by attending multiple industry conferences and trade shows Responsible for working closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other appropriate departments in responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) which include pricing discussions, RFP response analysis and recommendations that directly impact our partnership opportunity Partner with Client Relationship Manager to support organic growth, understand client needs/expectations and communicate to the marketplace our successes and abilities to those prospects that may have similar needs Build strong, lasting, strategic relationships and personal and professional credibility with decision makers Meet or exceed revenue goals as defined on a yearly basis Understand CBE’s organizational structure and a working knowledge of each department’s role and responsibility to ensure that the position can assist in meeting any challenges that may impact our ability to complete a sale and/or achieve a client’s goal(s) and objective(s) Understand specific portfolio characteristics including profitability, portfolio strategies, staffing requirements and competitive rankings Provide the VP, Sales monthly (or more often as necessary) activity reports outlining activities and/or conversations you have had with existing and prospective clients of CBE and relevance of those conversations and outline their place in the lift cycle of a prospective client. ACCOUNTABILITY/MEASUREMENT Projects assigned and agreed upon will be delivered on time and on budget to the best of the positions ability to control these issues Recognition that work is performed under very broad supervision, requiring a meaningful degree of independent judgment and action Role will be held accountable to sales objectives and revenue/margin targets Regular reviews of sales activities, including, but not limited to, cold calls, lead generation, conversion rates, time to close, and support project deliverables will be measured against management expectations EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES Four-year undergraduate degree is preferred A minimum of five years of sales experience A minimum of two years of sales experience within healthcare collections Proven track record of past sales success/revenue driving in a similar business-to-business environment Knowledge of healthcare market within the collection industry Relationship management experience at various levels of an organization Experience working with Salesforce CRM application is preferred Outstanding communications skills – both written and oral Must be able to think quickly to overcome objections and rejection Assertive demeanor, competitive nature and personal discipline Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with prospective clients Excellent organizational and time management skills High energy, drive and sense of responsibility CBE Companies is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
