Camera Operator

Overview: This position will be a key member of the game-day staff, manning a camera for both our online NWL TV Videocast and the in-house LED Video Board. Responsibilities: 1. Shoot a live sporting event while using top-of-the-line video cameras on a tri-pod. 2. Following instruction of both the Videocast Director and Video Board Director. 3. Work with Game Day Entertainment staff to ensure each game’s script is followed. 4. Set-up and tear-down camera equipment. 5. Other duties as necessary. Requirements: 1. Have the willingness to stand throughout the duration of their shift(s). 2. Basic camera knowledge. 3. Basic baseball knowledge. Qualifications: • Dependability- displays punctuality, follows instruction, and responds to manager’s instructions. • Willingness to represent the Waterloo Bucks in a positive manner. • High attention to detail. • Previous similar experience preferred but not required. Job Length: The main duties of the position will run from May 30 through August 13. There will also be opportunity to continue this position past August 13th if the Bucks will host any playoff games.
