Data & Accounts Associate

The Job Foundation is seeking a Data and Accounts Associate.  The Job Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that equips K – 12 students and their families for economic advancement.  Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.

Position Summary:    The Data & Accounts Associate collects and enters data on student performance and monitors the students’ financial accounts.  Position will primarily work 40 hours a week (Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) with occasional after hours and weekends.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
 

  1. Collects data on student participation and performance and enters information into database.
  2. Provides database quality control, performs data analysis and generates reports.
  3. Communicate with school officials, students, parents, and guardians regarding student status and TJF events and lessons.
  4. Secure student debit cards and monitor card check-out system.
  5. Communicates with IT Team regarding student grade calculations.
  6. Communicates monthly with High School students about their earnings and checkbook register status.
  7. Makes bank transfers into students’ accounts.
  8. Monitors The Job Foundation phone and general email address, checking for messages daily and forwarding to the appropriate staff person
  9. Assists with tracking and logistics for lessons as assigned.
 
Other Duties:
 
  1. Greets visitors to the office.
  2. Update and prepare Standard Operating Procedures for job tasks.
  3. Provide transportation to program participants as needed.
  4. Takes minutes at staff and committee meetings.
  5. Assist and attend organization’s lessons and events, as assigned.
  6. Attend staff and board meetings as needed.
  7. Organize file systems.
  8. Other office and student support activities as delegated by the Program Director or Executive Director.
 
 
Qualifications
  • An Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access) as well as using the internet to conduct research, compare and analyze data.
  • Familiarity with databases and online banking systems.
  • Must exhibit high degree of initiative, be self-directed and deadline driven.
  • Able to complete multiple tasks, be flexible, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check, have car ownership, car insurance and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and maintain strict confidentiality.
