Animal Intake Coordinator

Cedar Bend Humane Society is looking for customer service-oriented and motivated individuals to join CBHS as an intake coordinator! Intake Coordinators are the greeters at our intake shelter who assist walk-in traffic, answer the phone, responding to voicemails, coordinating PAWS Pantry needs, and manage the daily check-in of animal control stray animals. Hours needed to work are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and working multiple weekend shifts a month is a must. Other duties include but are not limited to: - Working with daily lost and found to help match lost pets with owners - Cleaning the intake lobby - Office and data entry tasks Skills & Qualifications: - Must have the ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of different customers - Entry level office and phone skills required - Must perform well in stressful situations - Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds - Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time - Excellent verbal communication skills - Animal handling skills with dogs and cats preferred To apply, please e-mail your resume to adminassistant@cedarbendhumane.org .
