Impact & Responsibilities: Manages, writes, edits and updates content for a variety of mediums, including the university homepage, official social media accounts, university and college magazines, university websites, university newsroom and marketing/branding collateral; establishes a positive association with the public and mass media on behalf of the university; works and collaborates with campus social media constituents to support UNI's content strategy; works and collaborates with other university entities in a cross-functional capacity; and provides university event support.
 
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, or related field; at least one year of experience developing and writing public relations/marketing communication pieces; demonstrated experience in writing for web, electronic media and traditional print; and excellent writing and editing using AP style and interviewing skills. Student experience will be considered.
 
Preferred: Experience developing, posting and managing day-to-day content for professional social media platforms preferred.
