Quick Lube Technician

As a Quick Lane Automotive Technician/Mechanic you will be responsible for performing factory-recommended maintenance services for a variety of cars, trucks, and vans, including multi-point inspections, fluid changes, and tire and brake services. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking any customer vehicle concerns and accurately prescribe correct repair action(s), and promptly deliver the required service.

  • Perform factory recommended maintenance services, including multi-point inspections, fluid changes, and tire and brake services on all makes and models
  • Properly fill out all forms and inspection sheets, noting any concerns
  • Communicate with Service Advisors on any issues or concerns that arise
  • Ensure high quality service is provided to every customer
  • Work in a quick and proficient manner to ensure work is accomplished on time
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment
  • Generate pride and commitment within the Quick Lane that creates a team atmosphere


  • Effective analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Previous experience at Quick Lane, Jiffy Lube, Firestone, Goodyear, Tuffy’s or other independent maintenance facilities (preferred)
