POSITION FUNDING: Room & Board Revenue
APPOINTMENT TYPE: Full-time, 12 months
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
SHIFT: First Shift

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under general supervision, performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the repairing, servicing, and maintaining of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, maintenance of steam and mechanical equipment; must have four years of work experience in the listed crafts, including apprenticeship or technical training. At least two years of that experience must be in the same craft.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least three years of experience in the field of repair and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment such as, commercial dish machines (conveyor, pot and pans and under cabinet styles), fryers, coffee machines, gas griddles, combi ovens, commercial ice machines, exhaust fans and dish return conveyors preferred. Ability to trouble shoot refrigeration systems (walking freezers, refrigerators and coolers) also preferred.
