Postdoctoral Scholar, Geography

Under the supervision of the ARCTICenter Director conducts research, provides technical and analytical support for the ARCTICenter projects, and conducts other programmatic activities with a focus on supporting COVID-19 related research in the Arctic; maintains relevant web portals; develops innovative GIS functionality; and prepares reports, media artifacts, and publications.
PhD or equivalent degree in geography, computer science, GIS, statistics, epidemiology, or related field required. ABDs will be considered. At least one year of experience in GIS and/or advanced data analysis. Student experience will be considered. Experience with data management and knowledge of Arctic regions and/or language(s) preferred.
