Network System Engineer

Oversee the workflow involved in maintaining the enterprise network, responsible for designing and implementing the network infrastructure, resolving advanced support issues. Essential Functions: • Implementation and execution of software and hardware platform rollouts, upgrades, and integrations • Provides recommendations and assists in the selection of solutions to advance the technology posture. • Participates in the development, support, and enforcement of bank technology policies and procedures. • Create new and maintain existing documentation of network and server environment. • Identify platforms where a 3rd party managed service would improve both our security, platform reliability and expertise. • Focuses on business value and quality of service while working to create efficiencies and maximize the software platform investment. • Establishes standards and methodologies for development of enterprise services. • Performs other duties as assigned. Key Attributes: • Ability to apply both critical and systematic thinking to network incident resolution and root cause investigation • Innovation and Problem-Solving • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent communication skills Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Applications, or a related field • 5+ years’ experience in providing network and server technology solutions • Knowledge of SQL server solutions • Experience with both vendor applications and customized software Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in a Citrix or terminal services environment Physical Demands: • Occasionally lift and/or move items over 10 pounds. • Remain sedentary (seated) for extended periods of time. Working Environment: • Work is performed in a professional office environment. • This role uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
