Provides employee and labor relations information and counsel for employees and supervisors; oversees the administration of employee leave and accommodation services and workers’ compensation; develops and delivers employee relations training and supervisory professional development; assists supervisors with grievance, performance management and discipline processes; researches and provides tools and resources for positive employee engagement and effective performance management; interfaces with Board of Regents (BOR) office and other regents’ institutions to formulate changes to and discuss interpretation of current policies and work rules; and develops and utilizes metrics and assessments.

Bachelor's degree plus at least three years of combined experience in employee and/or labor relations, workers’ compensation and employee leave management required. Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment with sensitive and complex matters also required. Human Resources or employee/labor relations related certification(s); experience with accommodations; and/or supervisory experience preferred.  
Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
