Strength & Conditioning Program Coordinator

Teaches safe and effective lifting techniques and proper spotting procedures; selects exercises and instructs athletes in strength, flexibility and speed development; supervises aspects of injury rehabilitation; provides nutrition counseling; designs long-term training programs for athletes in all sports; oversees internship/practical experiences in the Department of Kinesiology related to exercise science and theory of strength and conditioning; and collaborates with coaches to develop customized training protocols.

Master’s degree in exercise science or related field; at least four years of strength and conditioning coaching experience; one year of teaching experience; and CSCS or CSCCa certification required. Three years of Collegiate NCAA Division I strength and conditioning coaching experience preferred. Student experience will be considered.
