Provides primary care to a diverse student population, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries as well as office treatments and procedures; provides patient education; utilizes electronic medical record for documentation; and collaborates with appropriate staff on the development and implementation of specialized treatment, prevention, and continuous quality improvement programs.

Master’s degree in Nursing; at least two years of family practice or urgent care experience; experience documenting in an electronic health record; Family Nurse Practitioner licensure with national certification; current State of Iowa medical license; and current DEA and Iowa Controlled Substance certificates required. Experience working with college health population preferred.
