Clinic RN-Pediatrics and Adult Services
Peoples Community Health Clinic is seeking full time and par time Clinic RNs in Adult and Pediatric Services. Peoples Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Care Center and non-profit health care clinic with deep roots in the local community and guided by its mission to provide access to affordable, compassionate, high quality health care for all, while helping to improve the health of the community. The candidate selected for this position will:

Provide primary care nursing, patient education, health care maintenance, patient counseling, and normative care services to patients at Peoples Community Health Clinic.

Work with providers and administer nursing care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Assist with the planning, development and implementation of health education programs and materials, and provide assistance to and supervision of the Patient Clinical Representatives in areas of nursing beyond their scope of practice.

Perform all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of Peoples Community Health Clinic (PCHC).
Essential Functions:

Provides primary care for patients.

Provides normative care for patients.

Provides patient education.
-
Provides patient counseling.

Coordinates Provider support.
-
Provides symptom assessment to determine level of illness and patient care needed.

Supports a service-oriented atmosphere in accordance with Peoples Community Health Clinic Mission and Philosophy.

Works to improve work processes and clinical outcomes including health disparity and quality improvement collaboratives.

Protected Health Information Access (HIPAA)

Follows Clinic policies and procedures.

Develops and maintains own competence.

Maintains a safe working environment and practices safe working habits.

Assists in control of Peoples Community Health Clinic resources.
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferred.
-
Current Iowa RN license.
Starting wage: $26.92/hour
