Centralized Scheduler (includes on-call)
- Full-time opportunity, 1st shift (30 hours/week)- will include nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation
Creates a master schedule for each department as requested, takes daily employee call-in’s for illness or other attendance issues, finds replacement employees to resolve insufficient staffing, maintains on-call status during non-business hours, communicating with employees and department leaders of changing schedules, maintains an up-to-date roster of ever-changing department needs showing open positions, communicates staffing needs with HR/Recruiting department, fixes missed punches daily, approves PTO requests as needed, enters absences into the HRiS system as needed, and other duties as assigned.
Must have prior scheduling experience (developing and maintaining work schedules, etc) , ability to use necessary technology: Gmail, phones, cell phones, message systems, electronic scheduling system, etc., High School diploma or equivalent, experience in bookkeeping and general office practices, knowledge of practices and legal issues regarding hiring, excellent oral and written communication skills, and must be able to read, speak and write fluent English.
