Assistant Event Coordinator at Jorgensen Plaza for Well-Being

DUTIES: Assists with coordinating and executing events for the Diamond Event Center and catering needs out of the Jorgensen Plaza kitchen. Assists with the planning, preparation, organization, staffing, and execution of events. Actively recruits for new events and booking for the Diamond Event Center. Taking notes for events to ensure event goes smoothly and to the client's wants, as well as bill for completed events in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be 18 years of age or older. Past experience with event management, banquet, and large scale events preferred. Strong customer service background required. Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor when conducting business within Western Home Communities and out in the community. Must be able to read, speak, and write in fluent English. Regular attendance is required and ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
