Academic Coordinator Nursing Clinical Education
Remote Eligible within Iowa

This position is eligible to be performed remotely within the state of Iowa. Employees approved for remote work must comply with the requirements of our remote work policy and agreement.

Impact & Responsibilities: Responsible for securing, maintaining, and evaluating clinical sites within the Nursing program; assigns student clinical placements; promotes and supports the vision and mission of the Nursing program and the University; builds relationships with health care facilities and potential adjunct faculty; collaborates with staff to identify clinical experiences; leads human resource related duties for program including coordinating search process for clinical instructor and preceptors; collects, documents, and stores all required program paperwork; and oversees student background checks.

Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing; at least three years of clinical nursing experience; and current Iowa RN license. Occasional travel will be necessary.

Preferences: Experience in clinical nursing within an undergraduate program; clinical coordination and clinical placement experience; and experience managing background checks.
