Part-time Substitute Crossing Guard

The City of Cedar Falls is accepting applications for part-time substitute Crossing Guards for 2 hours per school day shift coverage up to 10 hours per week, when needed. Current pay: $19.367/hr. Duties will involve the movement of children to and from school crosswalks in a safe, efficient, and friendly manner. Interested individuals must have good judgment regarding safe conditions for children to cross the street, be dependable and prompt in all types of weather, and have the temperament to converse with children. Position is eligible for step/union contract increases, pro-rated holidays, and some part-time benefits. Post-offer pre-employment physical exam including drug screen required.
