-FULL-TIME; 1ST/2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE; 40 HOURS/WEEK DUTIES: Under general supervision, the Ingredient Control Clerk/Cook will track ingredients when received and when they are used for various batches of product, and enters numbers into computer data. Compiles individual ingredients for recipes and further monitors shelf-life of ingredients daily, notifying supervisor as to expiration dates. Will be required to enter data into computer, as finished products are packaged and readied for delivery and then distributed. Participates in physical inventory and ordering processes, notifying supervisor of any discrepancies in deliveries. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in food preparation, food safety and knife skills; including proficiency with cooking equipment and tools. Computer proficiency and strong customer service background. Ability to consistently and timely process and prepare ingredients according to established practices. Ability to analyze information for problems and report to supervisor when needed. Regular, predictable attendance- must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
