Assistant Dining Manager: Jorgensen Plaza for Well-Being

  • Full-time opportunity, 1st shift (40 hours/week)

DUTIES: The Assistant Manager of the Jorgensen Plaza Dining areas will assist with executing high quality dine in and take out/delivery restaurant and event service. They will also collaborate with customers, kitchen staff and others, train and evaluate staff, supervise and direct service, and solicit and respond to feedback. The specific dining locations include Gilmore's Pub, Table 1912, The Market, Diamond Event Center, and Prairie Wind residential dining. Will be responsible for collaborating with others to implement approved practices that contribute to improving and controlling costs and increasing revenues. Promote and participate in the Vision and Values of the Facility Strategic Plan, including People First, Innovation, Servant Spirit and Financial Integrity.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior related food service experience. Strong customer service and communication skills required. Must be self-motivated and maintain a positive, professional demeanor when conducting business within the facility and out in the community. Must be serve-safe certified, or willing to become. Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English. Regular on-site attendance is required and must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Focus on making positive connections with residents, employees, community members, and guests.
