Position Description:
Under general supervision, provides communication support for Public Safety Officers, student patrol, and Physical Plant; receives phone calls from students, faculty, staff and visitors and provides information; dispatches officers to requests for service; performs related clerical tasks; completes a radio log in accordance with FCC regulations; and performs other related duties.

This is a second shift position with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 3:00pm to 11:00pm


Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent and; Any combination of clerical education or experience and/or college or university level course work which is equivalent to three years of full-time employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior police/EMS dispatching experience, knowledge of NCIC, and record management systems is preferred.
