Senior Program Manager, Advance Iowa

Impact & Responsibilities: Oversees all programming and services related to the assigned program within Advance Iowa; promotes, manages, and monitors the effectives of services and service delivery; evaluates program’s effectiveness and adjusts programming to align with client needs; provides and facilitates direct business consulting to targeted Advance Iowa clients across the state of Iowa; manages budget associated with programming expenses; seeks additional funding streams including program income to meet the needs of the program services; identifies and assesses educational and training opportunities that assist clients in acquiring the knowledge and skills to improve their operational performance; and responsible for building collaborative relationships with key agencies, organizations and business leaders in Iowa to support the growth of the Advance Iowa program.
Hours will be 20 - 30 hours per week, depending on programs assigned to oversee.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, finance or other related field; at least eight years of experience working with or growing a company, developing and delivering workshops and training events; and knowledge of financial, strategic and innovation processes and systems.
Preferred: Master’s degree in business management, business administration, finance or other related field; business ownership experience; program management experience within an educational environment; and experience facilitating discussion groups and consulting with business clients.
