SBA USDA Commercial Lender

Developing and managing a loan portfolio; production and generation of new USDA loans, and deposits; and promoting the banks products and services in the community. Maintaining business relationships with clients. Originate and process SBA/USDA loans in accordance with LSB’s internal policy, maintaining compliance with applicable lending laws and regulations. Reviews USDA opportunities from all sales channels including internal referrals, digital lead and personal Centers of Influence. Pre-screen USDA opportunities for eligibility, cash flow and LSB SBA policy compliance. Specializing in USDA guaranteed lending. Negotiates credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods, and collateral specifications Liaison with internal Credit, Closers and servicing staff to facilitate meeting SBA customer needs. Completes business development calls on potential new clients. Utilizes CRM to document activities. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in commercial lending Previous experience in guaranteed lending. Basic knowledge of SBA SOPs, program eligibility, credit criteria and loan structure requirements preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience Demonstrates strong sales/business development skills Excellent communication, follow-up and time management skills
