SBA Closing Specialist

Perform a variety of processing and closing functions ensuring all due diligence with partner banks. Provide expertise to banks on closing and documentation requirements to ensure validity of SBA guaranty. Maintain a strong knowledge of SBA standard operating procedures. Act as a back-up for the processing of SBA loan requests through SBA loan origination and servicing systems. Perform all clerical functions pertaining to loan closings: Manages loan closing and final disbursement of funds Provide accurate, regular updates to clients, lenders, and management Review signed loan packages to ensure documents are correctly signed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 1 to 3 years closing/servicing experience, preferable in commercial lending SBA experience preferred. Understand SBA standard operating procedures Ability to multi-task and manage multiple loan transactions simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Desire to consistently learn and stay current Strong analytic and problem-solving ability Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
