Accounts Payable Specialist

Cedar Valley Hospice is the premier hospice agency serving 15 counties with offices in Waterloo, Grundy Center, Independence and Waverly. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our well-respected Finance team in our Waterloo office. At Cedar Valley Hospice you will work with the best team of clinicians, administrative staff and managers, utilizing highly regarded practices to provide optimum service to our patients, their families, vendors and our other healthcare partners. The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor file maintenance, along with general ledger entries and other analysis and support to the Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree in Accounting or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience working in Accounting is preferred. Must be proficient with the “Microsoft Office Suite” with a strong proficiency in Excel. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple demands while being detail oriented. This position will work 40 hours per week and will be scheduled Mondays-Fridays from 8:00am-4:30pm.
