Accounting Assistant

Accounting assistant needed for multi-specialty physician group.  Duties include creation of purchase orders into procurement software, coding credit card transactions, processing vendor payments, research and resolve invoice discrepancies, daily entry of cash transactions, preparation of expense reports, enter and process refunds, research and respond to vendor inquiries and discrepancies, assist with reconciliation of virtual card statements, data entry, 10-key, and special projects, and other tasks as requested.  

Position is full-time.  No weekends or holidays.  Excellent benefit package to include health, vision, dental, 401K, and profit-sharing opportunity. 

Requirements

Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to multi-task.  Ability to work both independently and as a team. Excellent communication skills.  Critical thinking skills to identify and resolve problems. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Proficient in MS Office.  

Associates degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience in accounting field
