Museum Manager - La Porte City FFA Historical and Ag Museum

La Porte City FFA Historical & Ag Museum - Manager The manager of the FFA Historical & Ag Museum will manage the day-to-day affairs of the museum operations, programs, events, activities and fundraising. This is a 20 hour per week, part-time position. Required qualifications of this position include: • Education - AA or Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business or History, but not required • Experience – Knowledge of museums preferable but not required • Available to work a flexible schedule, with occasional evening and/or weekend hours • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and general office equipment • Good communication skills needed, both verbally and written • Good time management and multi-tasking skills • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Able to maintain accurate and detailed records • Enjoy meeting the public and museum visitors Benefits for this position include: • Flexible schedule • Excellent work environment • IPERS • Salary $12 - $15/hr based on experience Contact City Hall at 202 Main St. for an application or logon to lpcia.com/employment Deadline for application is 31 June 2021.
