Supports and assists with the implementation of the multicultural recruitment plan; interviews, counsels, and advises prospective students and parents; recruits new students to the University with a focus on transfer students with a multicultural background; visits community colleges focusing on those with TRIO groups and high populations of multicultural students including out of state community colleges; evaluates credentials of prospective students and evaluates transfer courses and determines UNI equivalencies; assists with on and off campus recruitment events; and contributes to campus retention programming for diverse populations.

Bachelor’s degree; at least one year of related experience in admissions, advising, orientation, or student advocacy; and experience working with underrepresented populations required. Proficiency in Spanish (ILR Level 2 – Limited working proficiency) preferred. Student experience will be considered. Frequent travel and occasional night and weekend work will be necessary.
