UNI Housing has multiple openings for a Residence Life Coordinator, with one position starting as early as March and remaining position(s) starting in June. Residence Life Coordinators are 12-month, full-time, live-in, professional staff members.
 
Impact & Responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day operations of two-three residential facilities and creating a comprehensive residential experience in their buildings; recruits, selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates residence hall staff (undergraduate and/or graduate) and oversees their daily responsibilities and development; coordinates the residence hall conduct process for their buildings; chairs and serves on various departmental and university committees; be visible within their communities and engage in personal interactions with students; provides leadership, mentorship, and support to students; serves in a rotating on-call capacity for the residence hall system; communicates pertinent information to other departments on campus; and manages administrative items within the hall including the residence hall budget.
 
Requirements: Master's degree required. Spring 2024 graduates will be considered. Degree must be conferred prior to start date. At least one academic year of university residence hall leadership experience at a post-undergraduate or graduate student level required. Strong written and oral communication, administrative and organizational skills also required. Student experience will be considered. Frequent evening and weekend work will be necessary.
 
Preferred: Master's degree in student affairs, counseling or related field.
