Oversees all aspects of the conduct and management of research projects (i.e., from development to dissemination), under the umbrella of the Center for Educational Transformation (CET); assists in identifying and addressing research and evaluation needs, including conducting comprehensive literature reviews, needs assessments, conceptualizing and preparing proposals and grants, designing research and evaluation studies, and summarizing results of research projects; communicates and disseminates research progress and results; prepares reports, publications, grants, and other written materials; prepares and gives oral presentations on study findings; identifies funding opportunities and provides technical assistance with the development and submission of grant and research proposals; provides support, training, and assistance to internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to local, national, and international partners, research fellows and affiliates, students, and staff; supports the CET director on all aspects of project-related partnerships, communications, and dissemination related to the CET; and performs other job-related duties as requested.

Master’s degree in educational research, education psychology, or related field; at least three years of research management experience; research/grant writing experience; ability to lead and direct complex research projects; familiarity with diverse external funding mechanisms (e.g. National Science Foundation, Institute for the International Education of Students, National Institutes of Health, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation); strong knowledge and skills with the composition and submission of grant proposals; ability to form strong relationships with faculty, students and research partners in a variety of disciplines; strong knowledge and skills with quantitative and qualitative research design, data gathering, and qualitative and quantitative software; strong writing and communication skills; and commitment to working with diverse populations required. Occasional travel will be necessary. Doctoral degree in related field; experience working in research center; documented history of external funding; and mixed methods experience preferred.
