Impact & Responsibilities: Provides technical assistance and counseling to the students in the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center’s (JPEC) entrepreneurial assistance programs; develops and manages the accelerator program for student entrepreneurs; advises and educates the student entrepreneurs’ organization; assists with K-12 and community college outreach; and promotes programs of the Center.
 
Requirements: Bachelor's degree; at least one year of small business/entrepreneurial consulting experience; at least two years of experience working with students in a supervisory or mentoring role; and experience in providing consultative technical assistance to business or community clients.
 
Preferred: Degree in entrepreneurship, business, business education, economics, public administration, non-profit management, hospitality, or communications; experience having owned and operated a small business; and experience working with K-12 student populations, writing funding applications and developing budgets, community engagement and developing strategic partnerships, organizing large events, and coaching students in competition.
