Online Experience Coordinator
UNI is actively increasing its support for online offerings. Providing an excellent experience for students is essential to the success of expanded online programming. As part of the university’s broad commitment to ensuring excellence in online spaces in both academic and academic support areas, we are looking for an Online Experience Coordinator to support this initiative. The Online Experience Coordinator will align with the university’s direction and center on creating an online library experience that is similarly excellent to that of our in-person library experience.
A primary goal of this position is to have a highly collaborative point-person for the continually evolving online library experience. This person will interact with units and individuals throughout the library and will report through the Learning and Research team.
Impact & Responsibilities: Ensures the quality of all digital interactions the library has with its users; ensures the online user experience is reflective of the physical user experience; reviews and assesses online services and presence through analytics, usability studies, and other assessment tools; oversees the maintenance and development of digital content and services; provides strategic direction on the library’s overall digital service and learning environment; identifies, reviews, and recommends new and innovative user-focused digital technologies, service integrations and tools; collaborates with library faculty and staff in developing and improving unit and library online presence.
Requirements: Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or bachelor’s degree plus at least three years of library experience required. Student experience will be considered.
Preferred: Experience with Springshare platforms, web content management systems, providing library instruction, and academic library experience.
