Impact & Responsibilities: Coordinates student support services to promote the educational development and success of military and veteran students; serves as an advisor and advocate for military and veteran students by providing information and education about admission, enrollment, career, transfer, financial aid, and counseling processes and services; provides mentorship, counsel and support for military members and veterans regarding transition to higher education; provides supervision to the Military & Veteran Services Center staff; advises and collaborates with student organizations and leaders regarding event planning; and represents the University on local, statewide, and regional community boards, committees and other community initiatives.
 
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; at least one year of administrative, social work or related experience; excellent oral and written communication skills; and ability to work with diverse populations. Occasional travel will be necessary.
 
Preferred: Master’s degree; military experience; and knowledge of the sociological, cultural, and mental health background of military and veteran students.
