Position Description Rod Library is seeking a flexible and innovative individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team in the Digital Scholarship Unit. The Digital Scholarship Unit builds and administers the institutional repository, UNI ScholarWorks, which collects, preserves, and makes available the research and creative and scholarly output from the UNI community.
Under general supervision, administers UNI ScholarWorks; serves as project manager; manages faculty publications; designs online exhibits; monitors best practices in institutional repositories, digitization and metadata; assists with the unit's outreach; assists in identifying potential new content for the institutional repository; and performs other duties as assigned.

This is a first shift position with a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
 

Required Qualifications:  
Four years of library work experience, or a combination of related work experience, undergraduate education and/or post high school library training totaling five years.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience with institutional repositories or digital collections desired; strong communication skills; experience managing projects; and knowledge of scholarly communications topics, such as open access, copyright, and creative commons licenses.
