Instructor, Social WorkThe University of Northern Iowa’s Department of Social Work seeks applicants for a full-time renewable term position of Instructor of Social Work, starting January 2023. Responsibilities include teaching four course sections per semester, participating in service to the University and community, and student advisement. The department offers programs at B.A. and M.S.W. levels and qualified candidates must be able to teach practice courses across the two programs.

Required qualifications include a master’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program plus at least two years of post-MSW direct practice experience; strong communication skills; and evidence of working in a collaborative environment. Areas of expertise are open.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D.; previous teaching experience; and ability to teach online.
