The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Philosophy and World Religions is seeking a visiting professor appointment in Philosophy at the rank of Term Instructor for a 3-year term appointment beginning August 2020. The successful candidate’s primary teaching responsibilities will be three sections of Humanities, at least one section of Ethics each year, and a section of Ancient Philosophy every other year, totaling a 4-4 load. The successful candidate will share the department’s commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, and to engaged service (mentoring students, serving on committees, and offering programming on campus and in the wider community).
