Instructor, Geography

The University of Northern Iowa's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences invites applications for an Instructor of Geography position in the Department of Geography. This is a full-time (9-month) two-year term position beginning August 2020. Expected teaching responsibilities include four sections per semester, which will include a geography course (world, human, and/or physical), GIS, and an upper division in the specialty of the Instructor.

A Master’s degree in Geography or closely related disciplines is required at the time of appointment. Demonstrated expertise and excellence in teaching are required. Candidates with PhD or ABD are strongly encouraged to apply.
A Master’s degree in Geography is preferred.
