Instructor, Electrical Engineering Technology
The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Applied Engineering & Technical Management seeks applicants for a two-year term Instructor for the Electrical Engineering Technology Program, starting August 2023. Courses taught may include: Circuits and Systems, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Linear Control Systems, PLCs, Electronic Communications, Digital Signal Processing, and other courses as assigned. This position also works with the 2+2 partnership program with a university in China to deliver courses face to face in China; and also has corresponding committee work and assisting with student activities.

The successful candidate must hold a Doctoral degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology or related field.
Required qualifications include prior university or community college teaching experience, or significant associated industrial experience in a related technical field; and be able to travel to China to teach courses in English. Preference will be given to candidates with prior university or community college teaching experience in the area of electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
